Wat is een radiatorkit?

Toepassingsgebied van de radiateurkit in de test?
Het toepassingsgebied van een radiateurkit in de test is duidelijk beperkt en ook in de praktijk is het duidelijk dat deze additieve emulsie-oplossingen alleen in het koelcircuit van voertuigen mogen worden gebruikt. Deze middelen reageren op temperaturen en deze middelen worden ook alleen effectief in warme vloeistoffen. De producten worden eenvoudigweg in een radiatoropening of de expansietank van het voertuig gekanteld en dan hoeft u de motor alleen maar te laten draaien, zodat de radiatorafdichting in het koelvloeistofcircuit wordt verdeeld. Deze producten worden als giftig beschouwd en voor deze additieven gelden ook bepaalde gevarenklassen. Daarom moeten de gevarenwaarschuwingen precies worden opgevolgd en worden deze middelen voor autoradiatoren en bijbehorende lekkages ook alleen hier gebruikt. Men heeft meestal slechts één of twee pogingen om deze middelen te gebruiken en dit is waar de ware feiten over de prestaties duidelijk worden. Deze radiatorafdichtingsmiddelen helpen niet bij grote lekkages in een koelcircuit.
